Hello,

I've been working hard to find a Professional to assist you with your question, but sometimes finding the right Professional can take a little longer than expected.

I wonder whether you're ok with continuing to wait for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will continue my search. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you.

Thank you!

Hello Thank you for your email. I am ok with waiting for some

information as I have almost given up hope to get our money back to

England. Is there a french ombudsman? also, I have just been told

there in an association de Consommateurs Que Choisir and also

Mediateur de la Republique perhaps you can investigate both of

them and let me know if they can help.us. Thank you.

Only one piece of advice if you have no other issue with this bank. Send a recorded delivery letter, in French of course, to the President of Credit Lyonnais at their corporate headquarters. In this letter, explain that you have requested many times that your funds be transferred. Give your BIC AND your IBAN (BIC alone is useless) numbers. And threaten to seize the banking sector ombudsman and to inform the AFUB (consumer association specializing in the banking sector)
Usually this simple course of action "wakes" up forgetful banking clerks in Argelès or elsewhere and gets things done.

Hello Many thanks for your email. Have you any idea as to where I can obtain the address of Credit Lyonnais headquarters also the AFUB

address. I am an OAP and a learner on the computer so have no

knowledge as to where I can get this information. Once again thank

you so very much for your help in this matter. Any information will

be greatly appreciated.
