Howdo you enable the paste on the edit menue it is disabled and when you are trying to transfer files from your computer onto an independent mp3 device?

What I am trying to do is to transfer some content to an independent mp3 device What i do is open the file content that i want to transfer then click on paste tab but it is disabled

What i do is open Windows explorer to view the file content that I want to transfer then I go to edit memu heading then scroll down to paste then click on paste

before doing this, you will need to go to COPY
did you try it ?
(if you dont select copy, there is nothing to paste)
