Customer Question

My mother's sister( Irma)died last year and her husband (Helmut) died last month. They lived in Gottingen and had no children. Paintings by my mother's father were in the house. My mother has never had contact with any of Helmut's relatives. She realises she would have no claim on the estate but we wonder if there is a way we can view the will. She is just anxious that these paintings, of great sentimental value to her, are not simply sold because no one wants them.

Dear Customer,

thank you so much for using Just Answer

Unfortunately there is no legal claim to see the will

If your mother were in the will of her sister she would have been notified by probate court

I am very sorry
