Hi sorry to hear that .
Just to be clear, the unit heats but wont circulate heat in your home?
combi bolier .... hot water works heating dosnt.
Do you have a T stat on the wall for the hose heat?
Also is there more than one zone T stat?
No stat just 1 on the boiler
Make sure it on HW & Heating and the timeclock set.
If you system is so equipped .
I didn't get your model # as it came in as xxxxxxx, Try leaving a space between each character:-)
im running the heating on constant ... options: once, twice, off and constant
Greenstar he gc number - 4 7 3 1 1 7 8
Hi Ian, if you use the system for heat, there should be a wall T stat somewhere isn't there or is this a portable model?
Which I doubt.
its looped out i believe
Hi Ian thanks, but in that case how do you set the heat so it stays comfortable?
I need to know this information for sure because if that is the case there are two possible other things that can cause this.
But lets work through one at a time.
If there is a T stat somewhere else in the home then it may be off or set low.
Please let me know what you find.
Thank you for your patience as these are technical problems and require checking through many things to be sure.
The boiler stat
Please turn it all the way up for a few minutes and let me know if it ever sends heat to the radiators?
No it don't
can you hear the circulator pump running?
Sometimes you can feel that by placing your hand on top of it.
They fail quite often in these units for some reason.
It sounds to me for sure that the circulator isn't running.
But to be sure you will need a meter to perform some tests as it could also be a faulty T Stat not sending the power to the circulator.
That's about all there is to this unit.
Please let me know if you want to continue to delve into this a bit further?
