I have a Vaillant ecoTEC pro combi boiler and need to wire

Customer Question

I have a Vaillant ecoTEC pro combi boiler and need to wire in a Myson MPRT RF Programmable Thermostat. I have both wiring diagrams but am unsure how to connect up.

There are two methods shown on the Myson leaflet,
a. Volt Free Low Voltage Switching and
b. 230 V ac Switching

The wiring diagram for the Vaillant Boiler shows six connections:
1. No Function - currently unconnected
2. RT - 230V ac room thermostat - currently unconnected
3. Live - Currently connected direct to the Live Mains wiring
4. Neutral - Currently connected direct to the Neutral Mains wiring
5. Earth - currently connected direct tothe Earth Mains wiring
6. Appliance Earth

You can use the volt free connections.
The thermostat will require a live and neutral feen and then the other 2 connections are wired into the volt free roomstat connections
