I need to replace the 24hr electro-mechanical timer on my central

Resolved Question:

I need to replace the 24hr electro-mechanical timer on my central heating.
I am finding it hard to locate a replacement for the T+R+A+C unit thats installed at present.
I have seen an immersion timer rated at 16amp and wonder
1. Are there specific unit for this task
2. would the immersion unit be suitable
