I am now on line.. TV connected to TalkTalk Box What next please ?

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
Ok, does the TalkTalk box have an optical audio jack? It would be on the back.

Please let me know so that we can continue.

You view Box from Talk Talk does not appear to have jack point. There are 5 cables at back Antena in and out , internet, HDMI ,power inlet.

It has scart socket and USB socket. Is that info any use ?

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
Ok, your sound bar only has optical and HDMI jacks.

I would connect Talk Talk box to sound bar using HDMI and then connect sound bar to TV using HDMI.

That should work.

Let me know if that works .

I'll be here.

Sorry Steve , but sound Bar does not have HDMI connection. Only connections on soundbar are optical digital audio In ( as per cable supplied but no matching point on TV ) input and twin white and red audio In /DVD input.

The rear of soundbar model SC-HTB8 does not look anything like the pictures you have sent.

I will try and photograph the soundbar and send it to you. Since this will involve shutting down, how can I reconnect with you?

Ok, I know which sound bar you have.

Please look at >>>THIS<<< diagram. DO you see the two jacks labeled 11? Connect those to the two identical jacks on the back of your TV labeled Audio Out.

That's all you have to do.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
