I have had to get a replacment remote htl2100 soundbar

I have had to get a replacment remote for my htl2100 soundbar and cannot get the soundbar to operate, the remote is connected to to unit because it will switch on and off and change input ????

Sound bar is approx 6 years old, there are no controls on the sound bar. When I connect the unit to to the tv and power the correct information comes up (it is a Philips htl2100) it is connected via the red white cable which should mean it comes through Aux ?

Hi yes you are correct on that, by default it picks that output.But I hate these soundbars because you can never tell if the remote is the problem etc.Is your soundbar still not outputting sound even with the new remote?ThanksTech Michael
