Assistant: What's the make/model number of your stereo? How old is it?
Customer: Sony ht-xt100 about 18months

Try to increase nothing happens

OK, lets try to reset the soundbar that might help..

Press the Power button to turn the power on.

Press three buttons of the [INPUT], [VOL−] and [Power] simultaneously for 5 seconds.

The message “RESET” is displayed on the screen display panel, then enters the standby status.

Turn On power of soundbar and reply back with the result.

Try again to perform the reset procedure mentioned in previous reply.

Press the Power button to turn the power on.

This is odd, are you sure you're doing the test properly as requested?

Press and hold three buttons of the [INPUT], [VOL Down] and [Power] on soundbar for 5 seconds while soundbar power is ON?

Those buttons as located on right side panel of soundbar, do not use remote for it.
