Hi, i have a master space heater that as 2 ignition coils.There

Hi, i have a master space heater that as blown 2 ignition coils.There is no pcb on the heater but a small ( relay or transformer ).The information on the heater is 230V.A.C ,phase 1 , AMPS 2 ,LINE FUSING 15 AMPS , hope this helps regards Paul.

 

 

ps it is attatched by spade connectors

Yes power still there now, motor turns but ignition coil blown again

Spark plug lights then I hear a pop sound from the coil, to me the coil is not getting regulated with the amount of juice it is getting

Hi just spoke to a friend and he told me I had wrong type of coil in heater the one I was using was off a motorbike

Hi Mike,went into town this morning and the shop assistant said it is a motor start relay i require,which sounds about right,i know the power in is 230V but what amps out do i require ? thanks Paul.
