I have a Baxi Bermuda 50/4 Inset Boiler. It was fitted

Resolved Question:

Hi, I have a Baxi Bermuda 50/4 Inset Boiler.
It was fitted in 1997.
It is serviced ever year.
Recently a single bang has started coming from the radiator pipes as soon as the boiler fires up in the morning.
There seems to be no other problems with system.
Can you please give me some idea what the problem could be?

Hi ,an issue with these boilers is that they scale up quickly and are prone to sludging . this causes the boiler to bang ,as in a kettle as the water can't flow through as quickly as it needs to. This is called kettling .to preserve the life of the system a power flush is recommended .this involves a pump cleansing the whole system .
