Customer Question

I have a vokera gas boiler and there is water leaking from the pipe that feeds outside. The leak is inside just to one side of the boiler. Is this dangerous or ok to leave until after the weekend?

Hi, its water leaking from the safety valve that dumps overpressurised water outside. The expansion vessel will need recharging or replacing. Its nothing dangerous , the boiler will stop working when the boiler looses most of its water. Turn it off and that will be fine.the leak may be because the installer may not have tightened the nut up enough.
