Customer Question

I have a Vaillant EcoTech Pro 24 combination boiler .I topped up the water and managed to put in too much.It now registers 3.0 bar when cold. The boiler is working normally- there is some water flow in outside over flow pipe- but I wondered if any harm will be done to the boiler or will the water pressure eventually right itself?

Hi . It has just emptied a bit out of the safety valve. The pressure if it goes to zero , top up to about 1.3 bar. Don't worry though, the boiler will not fire if the pressure is below 1 bar ,so it safe enough
