Hi,my name is mike and I will assist you with your question.
Did the master cylinder run dry when changing out the pipes?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

no ,when cut pipes did not get fluid leaking either, had hard pedal till cut pipes now nothing.

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 3 years ago.
Ok if you had a hard pedal prior to the pipes being changed and no fluid is coming out now, this is a brake booster problem. The brake booster has internally failed to cause this issue.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

when you say brake booster do you mean master cylinder

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 3 years ago.
No,the round big disc that the master cylinder bolts to is the booster.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

how would this stop the fluid free running with gravity,

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 3 years ago.
Because the booster when failed has a internal diapram that cuts off the flow from the master cylinder and stops it at the booster.
