If the battery was dead and you replaced it with new then you need to reprogram the key fob again .

This is how you can reprogram your remote ,make sure you have all remotes present as they will all be nneded to program all together .

Do the following to reprogram.

Obtain all remote transmitters vehicle.

1. Fasten seat belts and close all doors.

2. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within 6 seconds, with the 4th time ending in RUN.
(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)

3.Turn ignition to OFF.
Acoustic signal will sound to confirm programming mode.

4. Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on the first keyless remote.
Wait sound and warning lamp to flash (confirming programming) then release button on remote.
Wait 2 seconds but within 10 seconds
Repeat step 4. other remotes.

If you only have one remote then continue to step 5.

5.Turn ignition to RUN or wait 10 seconds to end programming mode.

Still has not worked.heard tone but still not working have open door with key and turn key to111 to stop alarm

Okay if you heared thefirst tone then the system is still functioning and you have a bad keyfob.

You will have to have this checked at Ford or a good locksmith that has the equipment to
test the keyfob .
