I am a Bulgarian national. I came to Britain in 2009. I worked self employed with a National insurance number. I dont have a yellow or blue card. I married an Englishman in September. Can i apply for British citizenship now ?

No. You will qualify for Permanent Residence in 2014 and Citizenship in 2015 if you can prove you have exercised Treaty Rights in the UK for that period. You can only apply for Citizenship if you have already got Permanent Residence (automatically or by application).
