Why do the Home Office have your passport?

What is your current visa status and nationality?

What is your wife's nationality and visa status if she is not British?

Are you officially separated and have divorce proceedings been initiated?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

They refused the marriage as it was a proxi marriage made from Cameroon in our absence.

My nationality is Cameroon and my visa status is student.

My wife is from Czech Republic EU

Not divorced but she left me as things were not working out as we expected.

So you applied for an EEA Family visa and it has been refused as the marriage was not recognised and the Home Office have retained your passport?

There is no point submitting an appeal as the relationship is not subsisting (even if there was a chance of the marriage being recognised).

I assume that your student visa has expired?
