i want to apply for a British passport but in the past i was arrested and charged but in court i was acquitted. I am a EU citizen and i have lived in the UK for 20 years so i am still able to apply for a British passport. Many thanks.

Yes, if you were not convicted, you may apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen and if your application is successful, you may then apply for a British Passport.
