If I overstay my Ancestry Visa by 28 days or less, would there

Resolved Question:

If I overstay my Ancestry Visa by 28 days or less, would there be any penalty should I ever wish to return to the UK as a visitor? I am an elderly Australian citizen

Hello,
There is no mandatory ban if you overstay for up to 28 days. If you have a good reason to overstay, you should be fine coming back to the UK as a visitor if you have a genuine reason to visit and can show you will return back to Australia at the end of your stay in the UK.
