Customer Question

What effect (if any) would fitting 18" wire wheels have on the dynamics of the steering to a 2010 XKR

Hello

Most wire wheels will flex by an amount, new wires that are made well should only flex a little and you may notice a bit more vagueness in the steering

however cheap wires or old wheels can flex a lot ( about 25-30mm) at the rim this can have a bad effect on the handling and steering feel and make the car quite dangerous at speed

To be honest I'd stick with an alloy wheel as wire wheels are very much an out of date solution
