Can you please give me clear info on which oxygen sensors I

Resolved Question:

Can you please give me clear info on which oxygen sensors I need for a 2003 2 litre Jaguar X type. The advertisements seem very ambiguous - eg one advertiser says I need one sensor for bank 1 sensors 1 &2 and bank 2 sensor 2 and a different one for bank 2 sensor 1 and yet the advert gives the same part number (C2C25956) for all 4. This doesn't make sense.
Clarification would be appreciated.

Hello

the upstream of the cat ( sensor 1) sensor and the downstream sensor ( no .2) are different
sensor 1 should be C2S51801 and sensor 2 should be C2S38497

Thanks Matt

Thanks for this. However, does your answer apply to both banks?

One advertiser claims that the same sensor can be used up and down stream on bank one.

Could you confirm please.

Otherwise, many thanks...

David

Hello David

its the same same on the upstream side for both banks, so bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 are the same

and bank 1 sensor 2 and bank 2 sensor 2 are the same
