To time the injection pump correctly requires a dial gauge, the marks for the gears are shown below.
Attachments are only available to registered users.
The B mark on the injection pump must align between the marks on the camshaft gear as below.
The woodruff key should be at the 11 O'clock position when fitting the pump, when the engine is assembled you need to fit the dial gauge into the rear of the pump, the reading should be 0.65 mm at TDC.
