Tks your help. Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD 2005. Loud motor noise

Customer Question

Hi, tks your help.
Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD 2005.
Loud motor noise from front of vehicle.
Noise immediately I turn ignition on, before starting engine.
Barely audible above engine noise.
When engine shut down noise continues for around 30 seconds.
Local garage mechanic, said it is electronic throttle motor, said when they unplug

Sadly this is correct what the dealer said . The throttle body malfunction and get stuck and cause this issue.
The throttle body needs replacing.
This is actually a common issue with engine over 89.000 miles some sooner.
First a diagnostic test should be carried out using the scan tool
To confirm the throttle body.
Need further assistance with this issue then please get back to me
