Viet - Laptop Tech :

Hi,

Viet - Laptop Tech :

I'm sorry about the computer issue. It looks like windows is corrupted.

Viet - Laptop Tech :

Please try this: turn off the laptop, then press & keep holding the key 0 (zero), and then turn on the laptop until a system recovery menu appears, then release the key 0, and continue.

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : tried that , just went to windows error recovery screen
Viet - Laptop Tech :

How about trying F8 key? What are all the options it gives you?

Viet - Laptop Tech :

Can you try the recovery disk, and do F12, then use the arrow keys to select the cd/dvd drive, then press Enter key, then press Enter key when asked to boot from the cd/dvd drive...?

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : this gives me advanced boot options , tried a couple of then but nothing happened
Viet - Laptop Tech :

Can you try the recovery disk, and do F12, then use the arrow keys to select the cd/dvd drive, then press Enter key, then press Enter key when asked to boot from the cd/dvd drive...?

Viet - Laptop Tech :

Great.

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : right , the white band reached right hand side of screen , then it went to blank screen , then the microsoft logo again on screen , now gone blank with the mouse arrow on the screen
JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : now have recovery utility screen, with flags on l h side, next button on rh side , but not doing anything
Viet - Laptop Tech :

Do you mean the mouse cursor does not move?

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : no , mourse curser moves over screen , it has not asked for disc 2 ,
Viet - Laptop Tech :

Does it ask you to do anything on the screen now?

Viet - Laptop Tech :

Or what's it doing now on the screen?

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : just has utility recovery, with next or back option
Viet - Laptop Tech :

Click on Next.

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : clicking on next , not doing anything
Viet - Laptop Tech :

Hmm, it's not working. Can you turn off, then remove the charger and battery, then reconnect only the charger (without battery), then try the recovery disk again?

JACUSTOMER-bv4u9uen- : ok
Viet - Laptop Tech :
