Hi and thanks for choosing Just Answer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be happy to assist you.

Please keep in mind that if you reset the laptop to its factory defaults all of your data and any programs you installed after purchasing the laptop will be deleted by the restore. Please make sure you have backups of the data before you proceed. Please follow these directions to restore the laptop to its factory state:

  1. Turn the laptop off.
  2. Turn the laptop back on and tap the F4 key repeatedly when you see the Samsung logo.
  3. Samsung Recovery Solutions should load.
  4. Click on Restore.
  5. Click Complete Restore.
  6. Highlight Computer Initial Status and click Next.
  7. Click OK and the computer will restart.
  8. The computer will reset to its factory state at this point. This process may take between 20 and 60 minutes.

Let me know if you get stuck along the way; I will be here. Thanks!
