hi can a pub landlord put up men ad women signs? on a disable toilet for ableboby people to use? as i am in a wheelchair and need the toilet in a hurry to find someone is fit and able is in there they have there own toilets

There
is no hard, fast rule. Under the Disability Discrimination Act the business has
to do all that is reasonable, it is as vague as that. There is not actually a
duty (depending on the building and business size and space ) to provide
disabled facilities at all. If disabled facilities are provided, then to make
them exclusively for use of the disabled is actually positive discrimination
and is illegal in itself.

There
is actually no duty to provide separate men's and women's toilets



The
situation you describe is extremely common. In our offices, our men's toilet
doubles as disabled. In my local Costa Coffee, there is just a large disabled
toilet for everyone.
