Customer Question

My partner is Australian and is here in England on a work visa. We wish to marry but he needs to divorce first. He is planning a 'diy' divorce but are unsure of court charges, some sites say that as a foreign national charges are inapplicable. Is this so and if not what are the likely costs?

Hi
He needs to get her agreement in writing then issue the Petition based on the two year separation.
The fees are payable by everyone unless they are entitled to fee exemption because of their low income.
The Petition fee is £340 and there is a further £45 to pay later
