Customer Question

WE WERE SOLD A REMORTGAGE ON 09/03/2006 VIA A BROKER. ON GOING THROUGH PAPERWORK LAST YEAR AFTER MY HUSBANDS DEATH, IT TRANSPIRED THAT THE BROKER HAD WRONGLY STATED THAT MY HUSBAND WAS A BANKRUPT USED CAR SALESMAN. WE HAVE BEEN PAYING HIGH INTEREST RATES BECAUSE OF THIS. HOW DO I RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND CLAIM BACK 7 YEARS OF OVERPAYMENT.

Is he not bankrupt?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

my late husband was never bankrupt, nor was he a used car salesman. They had the rught name but the wrong person. He had never lived at the address they were quoting

Can you please explain how
they had the wrong address if this was a remortgage? Did you live in a
different property?

Have you written to the broker
or telephoned?
