HI.

Thank you for your question . My name is Jo and I will try to help with this.

Do they have a branch in the UK at all?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi Jo,

yes, the organization I dealt with is called 'relogulf' (www.relogulf.com

) and their UK office is called 'relouk' (www.relouk.com), based in Pevensey (BN24 5BW)...

Best regards

Ok.

Are the goods insured?

When do they say they will be here?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes, I paid an extra amount ( around GBP800) as insurance.

it should've been here in the UK by early April. They removed and packed my furniture in late February....

And when are they saying they will be here?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

they've been telling me for the past 3 weeks: "tomorrow we'll ship and send you the ETA". we had a verbal agreement, and probably in writing somewhere in an email for delivery 6th of April.

The guys don't respond the phone. there's an attendant who filters the calls.

what is more concerning is what I have just read in:

Yes, that is obviously a worrying sign.

If you didn't agree that time was of the essence then the fact of delay is not a breach of contract per se.

However, they are very late and you are only under an obligation to wait a reasonable time. it would be worth sending them a letter giving them 7 days to deliver and making time of the essence.

Then upon default you could sue them for the value of the goods. They may well argue that you could claim upon your insurance but that is no protection if they have lost your goods and you choose to sue them.
