for jomo1972 over 14 years ago this person was arrested and charged with traffiking caught with 100 tabs of ecstacy and spent 3 months in prison when bailed went back to england after being served with a 3yr sentence

Obviously I practice in the UK rather than Spain.

However, I can tell you that in the UK a warrant would have been issued for your arrest as soon as you absconded that would not have been subject to time barring.

The older the warrant the more likely it is that they would struggle to enforce it.

However, the practical reality is that there is a risk at any time that they could enforce a warrant.
