Hi, my name is Ethel! I wonder if you can help me! Were scheduled for citizenship ceremony on 28th of June! But were booked on holiday and flying on the 10th of July! Can i still use my Filipino passport with permanent residency visa on it as it is impossible to apply and get a british passport right away! Thanks

You can use your old passport. It is fine.
You can apply for a British one as soon as you have your naturalisation certificate but a first passport requires an interview and you cannot fast track it so you will not be able to do it before you go on holiday . It takes 6 weeks .
