Hi This is a medical question. There are 3 brother one

Customer Question

Hi

This is a medical question.
There are 3 brother one of them is my father.

My grandmother has been discharged from hospital to a home to die with no medical prevention.

This was the decision of one brother and the consultant.

The other two brothers did where not told circumstances or asked if they agreed to this.

My question is can my father request for my grandmother to be re admitted to hospital as two of he brothers disagree with what has happened. No one has any legal document to say they have the power to make a decision like this.

This is in Northern Ireland

She has been in a nursing home for a year.

She was assessed in hospital about 5 weeks ago and they said that she was competent to make her decisions. How ever she goes into to periods of being too weak to talk. I have asked her previously does she want to get better which she has replied yes
