Purchased modular settee one part of which damaged the delivery man noticed it, he phoned cust serv and they said would replace, I spoke to them and said it would all have to be replaced cos of the shading leather match, cust serv insisted only replace one part. I wrote on the delivery note not happy about this and would seek advice. I then took pic of the delivery note with my mobile phone, as I asked for my copy and the delivery guys said there wasn't a copy for me. Looking at the invoice the company has charged me for each part of the settee individually. very worried as we waited 12 weeks for the settee and will have to wait for the replacement to come, not sure what my rights are if the leather doesn't match...and time is ticking by.If there is some advice you could offer I'd be grateful

The settee was purchased in store Harveys on 12th May total cost £1703 will a delivery timescale of 10-12 weeks. Sette was delivered on 8th August 2013 at 9.59. Mandy

What's the nature of the damage ?

On the chaise (one of 3 parts which make up the settee) there is a mark on the cream leather, which shows up as brown, just under the arm wrap on the side, therefore in view, further inspection revealed the wrap on the foot covering part of the chaise the finish were the two pieces of leather are sewn was marked on the underside. My initial note to you, states that they have offered to replace the chaise, my concern is that they should replace all of it due to shading differences if the new chaise doesn't match the other parts of the settee; as stated before I require all of the settee replacing. Mandy

I don't think you are real.........this is a brand new settee; why should I wait until getting the replacement chaise to find out if there is or isn't shading differences.............you don't buy wallpaper or tiles for a bathroom or kitchen from different batches............so sorry I'm not finding you very helpful and its now been 3 1/2 hours and you are asking about shading....you could have asked about that in your second question. Not bothered about the £30 quid whatever. Cheers. Mandy
