Hello my name is Alex and I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply as this is not an ‘on demand’ live service, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return.
I do not quite understand your question - you live on a caravan park? Are you being asked to leave please?
It was bought as holiday home because I to leave mainland & I am Agoraphobic & don't go out. I have no agreement as my ex husband bought it as we lived apart for 12 years.
Ok - you are being asked to leave and are you being offered alternative accomodation?
No, I haven't GM offered to put caravan in my son's address, but now he says it's got to be in his name & address. That's no good at all.
Ok - and have you spoken to the Council about alternative accomodation?
Visiting me on Friday at 11am to tell me whether he's come up with something else, I sent Council Senior Benefits Officer a URGENT e-mail last night & said they need to call me & get housing to visit as I am Agoraphobic which they know & cannot get down there. They have caused this situation because they have contacted the park & they have always my address in Shanklin whether it be c/o or not. I have never given park address to anyone.
So you have always lived there and the rules have changed with mobile homes which is why you need to leave?
I have been using it for holidays, I have started to go out with my niece by car & ferry to mainland since my husband left in March 2011 as he could no longer stay here to help me, he is terminally ill & gone back to die.
Yes. I do not understand then, how long have you been living there as your home (not holiday property)?
