Customer Question

I am the eldest of 3 Children. I am 71 with full mental faculties. I am a retired Inland Revenue Executive. My sister is 59 and my brother is 58. My sister has held Power of Attorney for my father, aged 94, since my mother's death on17 January 2005 because my father thought I would retire to Spain.
Can I now become a second Power of Attorney, as my sister's husband is divorcing her after 32 years of marriage and she is stripping my father's bank accounts to buy out her husband's share of the marital home as she is and always has been a material girl!
I am the second Trustee in a Discretionary Trust in my father's Will.

May I ask if your father has full mental capacity at this time please?

Joshua :

If so does your father wish you to be an attorney on his behalf?
