I was arrested by the police on suspicion of drink driving

Customer Question

I was arrested by the police on suspicion of drink driving and subjected to a blood test.
I received the result of my sample's test and it was below the legal limit.

However the police sample proved to be 8ml of alcohol per 100ml of blood higher than my result which put me over the 80mg limit. Where do I stand?

Hi

I have converted this to Q and A for you.

Can you respond now?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Jo,

My blood sample showed 77mg alcohol per 100ml blood but the police sample showed 85mg. In addition the desk sergeant at the police station made me take another breathalyser test to check whether I was fit to drive my car home and the result was 26/ug per 100 ml breathoints below the statutary limit.
