Hi there I am looking for advice on a Parking PCN: I was parked

Customer Question

Hi there I am looking for advice on a Parking PCN: I was parked between a loading bay and white chevrons on a single yellow line (neither in the loading bay nor in the chevrons)... at a time when the loading bay restrictions were still active. Is this a violation of the rules?

Thanks.

Whats the contravention code?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I am afraid I don’t have it to hand as the paperwork is at home will I be able to provide you with it in an hour please?

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
Yes no problem. I will be here
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi there the response from the council officer doesn't site any specific traffic code.

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
No, sorry it should be on the original PCN.

The letter of rejection from them might offer a description of the offence?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The description is: The vehicle was parked next to a pavement with kerb chevrons and within reasonabke distance of a time playe stating that loading or unloading was not permitted

Sorry that doesn't make much sense. That would seem to be mixing up two complaints.

is it possible that you could scan and email me the documents you have to [email protected] but include a link to this post so the mods know its for me.

I'm sure we will get to the bottom of it.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I'd only be able to scan it tomorrow but could try taking a photo now.

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
No, tomorrow is fine. I am not in court tomorrow so I'll be around all day.
