I am single mum, wanting to go on holidays, had passport recieved for the Child before the Father applied for guardianship,
I intend giving him notice I am on holidays, but do I need any further documentation other than passpor to to Travel, its just to Portugal for a week

Hello,

You need the consent of the child's father to take the child on holiday to Portugal, even if it only for a week.

If the father refuses, you may apply to the District court for an order allowing you to take the child on holiday without the consent of the father.

If you do not seek the consent of the child's father or the District Court, you could be commiting an offence of child abduction.
