Hi
I am afraid that it is the central issue
Given the relatively recent separation and changes it is reasonable for you to ask your ex to be discreet in his dealings with the school - but this will be short term as if he is truly transgendered then inevitably there will come a time when he will collect his child in his new persona
However given the delicate nature of the matter you should try and discuss matters with your ex using Family mediation (www.familymediationhelpline.co.uk)
When the time comes you should also ensure that the matter is discussed with the Head of the school
