I took my fathers watch to a jeweller and asked for a new strap

Customer Question

I took my fathers watch to a jeweller and asked for a new strap and estimate for a service.after waiting weeks I declined their estimate (500pounds).my son in law collected the watch on my behalf and the watch is broken . They deny responsibility saying when it was collected it was signed for . Now they are also saying I have been rude so will no longer discuss. All communication was on email and not in anyway " rude" just a ploy to get rid of me.how can i solve now they "have had the final conversation .
