I went to small claims court as a defendant and the claimant

Resolved Question:

I went to small claims court as a defendant and the claimant couldn't prove his case. I now have costs for proving my defence - how do I go about claiming them back?

Hi
Thank you for your question.
My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do my best to help you
i am afraid that there is no basis on which you can claim the costs incurred in defending the case - as no Orders for costs are made in the Small Claims Court.
I am sorry to have to give such bad news - please ask if you need further details
