Ben Jones :

Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX it is my pleasure to assist you with your question today. When was the advice you wish to complain about given?

Customer:

It was a case that started the high court in july 2010 and ended in august 2011

Ben Jones :

How much will you be claiming for, are you just after financial compensation?

Customer:

between 250,000 and 500,00

Ben Jones :

how will you justify that amount?

Customer:

i have all the transcripts of the case and the judges comments that condemn him for his lack of professional conduct

Ben Jones :

ok but how did you come to that figure?

Customer:

it represents what i have lost, court costs, loss of house, cars and several businesses

Ben Jones :

Ok well you can sue the barrister for professional negligence. He should have insurance for that so you would not be pursuing him personally for the money, which he is unlikely to be able to pay himself. The claim is made in the county court and you must commence the claim by completing form N1 and sending it to your local county court:

The claim must be made within 6 years of the date of the alleged negligent act so you are still within time to make it.

Customer:

thanks for that i will fill in the form

Ben Jones :

you are welcome
