Resolved Question:

Is it possible to hold citizenship of more than 2 countries? I am a South African born who obtained Dual Citizenship of the UK after living in the UK for 8.5 yrs. I have been living in Australia for the past 4 years and would like to apply for Australian Citizenship. Will I loose my British Citizenship if I should reply for a third nasionality. If not the case what is the correct procedure to follow before apply for Australian Citizenship?

Hello,

Yes, you may do so.

You will not lose your British Citizenship if you acquire Australian citizenship, it is permitted under UK law.

You should check that this is also permitted under South African law.
