You could try and sue him
However if you have not need to the Dr, diagnosed with depression, been to see a psychiatrist then sadly your claim for damages would be limited
If you are claiming above £1000 in personal injury then it would NOT be a small claim
This means there would be Court rules to follow and if you lose your claim then you would have to pay the other sides costs
You may get £500 at most but nothing more than that
