I have been charged with 'Overpayment of Pension Credit' to the tune of £6,700.41, by the Dept for Work & Pensions. The overpayment occurred because on 06 October 2003 my circumstances changed, through a small increase in my private pension. Overpayment period - 06 October to 23 Feb 2014.

This letter has no official stamp or signature.

Yours sincerely

Hi.

Thank you for your question. My name is Jo and I will try to help with this.

How can I help with this please?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

How can you help? Did you not read my email? I've asked in my email to you - 'What is my position?' Meaning - Is the unsigned letter legally binding, demanding £6,700.41 from me?

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
In fairness, that question wasn't in your first post.

I'm not sure what you mean by legally binding? Of whom? Over what?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Why have I been charged £47, for your useless prevarication, when first told in writing it would cost £33? Perhaps you will answer that and arrange a full refund of £47 to my Credit Card. Because, you have not provided one iota of help or information, in two email replies. If I do not receive my refund, then I'll take my case to the Legal Services Ombudsman.

Thanks.

I will be opting out.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I wish I could say thanks. Well done for nothing - its not opting out, but coping out! This web site is a disgrace and a 'rip-off' and I demand that the £47 paid by Credit Card is refunded - NOW!
