Resolved Question:

Hi

I am Likin Gera currently staying in Leeds UK. My wife is expecting twins in the month of August. We dont have a car and for long distances we usually travel by a taxi.

1. I wanted to know if I dont have a car is it mandatory for me to buy a car seat.

2. Is a car seat compulsory to travel by taxi as well?

Thanks & Regards

Hi
Thank you for your question

The law is set out here

You certainly do not HAVE to purchase car seats - but if you do make many Taxi journeys you may wish to consider the safety of the children
I hope that this is of assistance - please ask if you need further details
