Customer Question

Hi,

I divorced my partner a few years ago. We sold the family home which released 250K. My son stayed with his mum and because of this she walked away with 200K. Recently there are lots of talks about my son coming to live with me. If this happens can I go back to court to for a portion of the 250k.

Hi
I am sorry but Consent Orders van only be challenged on very limited grounds and the fact that your son may move to live with you is not one of them
I am sorry to give such bad news - please ask if you need further details
