Hi.

Thank you for your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will try to help with this.

Are you asking if you have to name the driver?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
Thanks.

If you don't name the driver then they will summons you for failing to identify.

If you don't have a British licence then they cannot add points to your licence but they can give you a heavy fine that will be much greater than the penalty for speeding.

S172 demands that you identify the driver and the burden of proof is upon you to show that you cannot.

Can I clarify anything for you?

Am I going to appear in the court at the end? or there is another way out !

Expert:  Jo C. replied 3 years ago.
If you don't have a UK licence then they probably will summons you to court because they cannot add points to your licence but they will only levy broadly the same fine.

Are you advising me to get formal legal advice and how much it cost (roughly)?

No.

I'm not sure there is really much point here. This is a speeding fine.

You have to comply the forms naming the driver under S172.

I'm not sure there is any point in advice in this particular case.
