We have had a warrant for entry gained by a power company through

Resolved Question:

We have had a warrant for entry gained by a power company through the magistrates court. They have agreed to withdraw any claim based on this as they had failed to communicate to us that a charge was expected. We want to know whether the warrant will impact our credit history in the same way as a CC judgement. If so we want to know how we can get it withdrawn even though it has been used to gain access to the property.

tdlawyer :

HI thanks for your question.

tdlawyer :

My name is Tony.

tdlawyer :

Can I just check that the warrant was issued via the magistrates court?

Customer:

Yes that is correct.

tdlawyer :

OK. This will not be recorded in the register, it's only county court and high court judgments that are and hence a search of that register will hav no impact on your credit rating etc.

Customer:

Thank you this answers our question exactly. Thanks!
