Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply as this is not an ‘on demand’ live service, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return. There is no need to wait here, you will get an email when I reply.
Are you in the fixed period or on a monthly rolling contract please?
Hi thank you Alex much appreciated,
we are in a month to month contract
which is rolling
Unless the contract states otherwise you can give notice at any time
If the Landlord wanted it so notice had to be giving on the rental date then the contract should have set so
Unless the contract says any other time when notice ought to be given then you can give it at any time
It is poor contract drafting
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
Thank you so much, so we don't have to end the notice on a fixed date as it was never stated in the contract and the contract then went onto a rolling month to month. If you could please email me its *****@******.***
Once you rate the format changes and you can come back to it at any time or copy and paste it
If this answers your question might I invite you to rate my answer
